getting there

From the A1(M) North/South: Leave the motorway at Junction 48. Pick up the signs for Newby Hall. Continue to follow the signs for Newby Hall to the venue's Main Gates.

Our event runs from 10:30am until 4:00pm. However, to avoid bottlenecks and minimise delays, entry for Italian cars and bikes exhibiting or taking part in the event  will be available from 9:30am with the intention of getting as many exhibitors as we can  in place by the event's opening time. Newby Hall will be open for general admissions, visitors from the general public and those not taking part in our event from 11:00am.

To ease congestion and to get you into our events field with the minimum of delay, we have two dedicated points of entry at our event: one for exhibiting Italian cars and another for exhibiting Italian bikes or scooters. As stated above, these two event-exclusive entry points will be open from 9:30am for early admissions.

Pay by cash on the day at the gates.  Only £10 per exhibiting Italian car (includes driver and up to three passengers) and only £5 per exhibiting Italian motorcycle or scooter (includes rider and pillion passanger). Foot traffic £3 per person. Children under 4 years of age will be admitted free.

Extra value! Keep your tickets for discounted entry to Newby Hall Gardens on the day.

Please note! Entry to Newby Hall grounds is free for Historic House members. There is a fee of £3 per person (under-fours free) for pedestrian entry to the event, which takes place on the large events field on the right of the main drive.

Many one-make Italian car and motorcycle Clubs or Groups like to attend this type of event parked together in dedicated display areas. We will try to accommodate this as long as we have prior notification that this is what you want. Please contact Colin Metcalfe with your requirements. The organisers can allocate space for you but please note that any such dedicated parking area will need to be self-marshalled by a representative from your Club or Group and we would encourage any such representative to arrive onsite as early as possible on the day of the Show.

There will be dedicated areas on Newby's events field for displays of one-make Italian car and motorcycle Clubs or Groups as outlined above. Any Italiancars or bikes not attached to these Clubs or Groups will be directed to their general parking areas by our marshals on the day. Wherever possible, motorcycles will be displayed on hardstanding areas but in any case, timber battens will be available onsite in order to provide a suitable base for your bikes' main or side stands in areas where hardstanding is not available.

We want the day to run as smoothly as possible and for you to enjoy yourselves so please take note of the following:

Well-behaved dogs and their responsible owners are allowed into the Grounds only at Newby. There is a small designated dog exercise area next to the picnic area. However, we strongly advise that you do not bring your pet on hot days as we cannot guarantee parking in shaded areas.

We are holding our event on what is for Newby Hall a normal day for welcoming visitors from the general public to the venue. Please therefore follow the directions of our marshals whilst in the Grounds on the day for your convenience and enjoyment.

Newby Hall's normal opening hours are from 11:00am until 5:00pm with the Garden cleared by 5:30pm. We suggest therefore that exhibitors and visitors to our event should stay on the events field and start leaving at around 3:45pm to ease congestion at the end of the day.

Camping onsite at Newby for visitors andexhibitors is available on the night of Sat 2nd June only. Pitches are £10 per unit (tent or caravan/campervan). Facilities are limited to a fresh water point and an Elsan disposal point. No need to pay in advance – your fee will be collected during the evening. Admission to the ITCAM event the following day is obviously NOT INCLUDED. Please email to reserve your spot!

We very much hope that you enjoy your day with us. For more information on the event, please email Colin Metcalfe and do please log on to Newby Hall's website for more details about our exciting and award-winning venue! Please log in and visit this website frequently as we will be adding more news and information as we lead up to the event. Thank you!
